SHES Celebrates Healthy Choices During Red Ribbon Week

Staff Report / SHlocal.org

Spring Hill Elementary School (SHES) is celebrating Red Ribbon Week from October 28 to November 1. The theme for the week is "We make healthy choices every day!" Each day features a different activity and dress code to promote healthy habits among students.

- **Monday** encourages students to wear SHES spirit wear to uplift and encourage their peers.

- **Tuesday** focuses on being active, with students invited to wear their favorite team gear.

- On **Wednesday**, students can wear tie-dye and peace signs to promote peacefulness.

- **Thursday** highlights the importance of reading, encouraging students to dress as their favorite storybook character.

- Finally, on **Friday**, students can show their dreams by wearing school-appropriate pajamas and shoes.

In addition to these activities, SHES is promoting healthy habits such as washing hands, brushing teeth, cleaning bodies, tidying spaces, and covering sneezes. Students are reminded to enjoy the last day of the celebration by wearing their pajamas.
