**Muma Children's Hospital in Spring Hill Reopens Level II NICU**

**Spring Hill, FL** - Tampa General Hospital proudly announced the reopening of the Muma Children's Hospital Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Spring Hill yesterday. This facility will allow infants with complex medical needs to receive specialized care closer to home.

The Level II NICU is equipped to care for sick and premature infants as young as 30 weeks. The unit will be staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by a board-certified neonatologist or a neonatal nurse practitioner.

Shortly after the reopening, the NICU welcomed its first patient, just 45 minutes after the doors opened. This reopening is seen as a significant benefit for local families, providing them a dedicated space for their loved ones during critical times.
