Tampa General Hospital said this week that its president and chief executive officer, John Couris, spent time with teams at TGH Brooksville and TGH Spring Hill, rounding through care areas, connecting with team members and seeing the momentum firsthand.

The hospital said it is expanding cardiac and neuro services and building a cath lab, and that the energy is real.

"It's driven by teams who are passionate about delivering exceptional care—and bringing academic difference to their community," the release said.
